Week 2 of fantasy football was wacky and crazy. Just look at the Ohio game between Cleveland and Cincinatti. Who would have thunk Derrick Anderson of all people would be fantasy worthy? Here is a recap of Week 2 games for the Arabian Monkey Fantasy Football IDP League.

I couldn't find a cool picture for Max Powers, so I used Donny from the Big Lebowski...he was a good bowler.

Jolly Pirate Donuts vs. Autodraft Sucksters

An underperforming combination of Stephen Jackson, Ronnie Brown, and Donovan McNabb killed any chance of a victory for Max Powers as his Autodraft Sucksters got beaten by nearly 30 points. This makes Autodraft Sucksters the worst in the league. It didn't help that Adam Vinatieri missed an extra point. The trio of Brady, Barber, and Adalius Thomas helped Jolly Pirate Donuts to a point total of 195.50. It was so good that it made The Gerk say SHIT...twice.

A bird and a Mookie combined for the highest point totals this week.

BAAA-CAAAWWWW vs. Mookie Blaylock

The matchup of the week. The two highest point getters with 250.18 and 238.32 respectively. BAAA-CAAWWWW came up with the win with help from Chad Johnson, Randy Moss, and Jake Delhomme. Mookie had Carson Palmer who ended up scoring 54.87 points but still couldn't overcome the 12 point difference. Who would have thought that the mighty Mookie Blaylock of Atlanta Hawks fame would be Baa-caawed by a big bearded bird.

Sag-nasty was too much for the Force of the German North this week.

Bob Saget vs. Force of the North (Roy)

The Dirty German received an ass whoopin' by the only undefeated player in the Arabian Monkey league. Bob Saget had some help from The Edge, The Stormin' Mormon, and RuJo while Roy the Boy Toy's defense struggled. The point spread was nearly 30 and the pride of Germany is going to have to get some help from the waiver wire in order to compete in this league. Roy has stated that he will win win for his home country and tear down the Berlin Wall again.

Jesus Shuttlesworth and his my momma team got bull Dozed this week

my momma vs. Dozer51

my momma and his LT lead team went the wrong way this week. The top point getter last week, my momma is suffering because of the underperformance of Tomlinson and Jones-Drew. Dozer had no problem with the help of Steve Smith and Thomas Howard.

All of the teams seem to be evenly matched and anyone can win. Unfortunately, the playoff system from another league was carried over to this league. This has caused everyone to make the playoffs. We will grant both a regular season and playoff champion in order to compensate. Week 3 should be a great week. The game to watch is between Bob Saget and Autodraft Sucksters. Bob Saget needs a win to stay undefeated and Max Powers just needs a win. Need some help off the waiver wires? Try one of these guys...

 

Jacoby Jones (WR) Houston Texans

Jacoby Jones is going to be great in the next week because he should be the primary receiver in the Texans offense. Andre Johnson looks doubtful with a knee injury this week. Jacoby also returns some kicks and punts so some extra points there. This guy kicked all kinds of ass in the preseason and Matt Schaub looks like the real deal.

Shaun McDonald (WR) Detroit Lions

Our boy has been tearing it up and is now within the top 20 wide receivers in many league formats. Kitna has been tossin the pigskin around real well lately and is getting the ball into the hands of his receivers. Any Lions' wide out would be nice to have but this guy might still be available in your league.

David Garrard (QB) Jacksonville Jaguars

I am keeping him on here because he had another great week.

The Gerk (DT) Free Agency

The Gerk would make a great DT. His size and quick footwork ensure he will be picked up by an NFL team sometime soon. He has been practicing his swim move and it looks pretty good.
